Getting started

Must I have the sedapZ app on my mobile phone to be a member?
Yes – you will need to use the sedapZ app to sign up for your membership, earn points and redeem your exclusive app-only deals and rewards. The app will also be our primary way of communicating with you about your membership.
How do I download the sedapZ app?
You can download and install the sedapZ app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Do I get a sedapZ card after signing up?
Your sedapZ membership is digital and stored within the app on your phone.
Do I have to pay for the membership?
No. sedapZ is a free app, but we encourage you to rate and review it in the app store.
How does the point system work?
Points are earned by showing the cashier of the restaurant that you order from your unique member code when placing your order (points are earned by spending at any of these restaurants; The Chicken Rice Shop, Sukiya, DubuYo, Ichiban Ramen, Sepiring and Che Go) 1 point will be rewarded for every RM1 spend. Point conversion is subject to change without prior notice.
Is there a minimum spend required to earn point(s)?
There is no minimum spend required.
Where can I earn point(s)?
Points can be earned from any of our restaurants: The Chicken Rice Shop, Sukiya, DubuYo, Ichiban Ramen, Sepiring and Che Go. Point redemption is available for dine-in or takeaway, or click & collect on our restaurants’ websites for self-pickup.

Point collection from click & collect is only applicable for the click & collect of the restaurant. No points will be collected for orders through delivery partners or 3rd party online ordering platforms (Grab, foodpanda, Shopee Food, etc).

Using sedapZ app

How do I activate my account after signing up?
After you register, you’ll receive a 6-digit verification code in your email (the email address that you used to sign up). Key in this code when you log in for the first time and you’re all set.
Why didn’t I receive the 6-digit verification code?
Please ensure that you’ve (keyed in the correct email address). If you have (keyed in the correct email address), you should receive an email with the 6-digit verification code within 5 minutes. If you still did not receive after 5 minutes, please contact us via email (feedback@sedapz.com).
Can I earn points for ordering a delivery?
Point collection from click & collect is only applicable for the click & collect of the restaurant. No points will be collected for orders through delivery partners or 3rd party online ordering platforms (Grab, foodpanda, Shopee Food, etc).
I just placed my order and paid at the counter, how long does it take for my points to be updated in the app?
You’ll receive a notification in the app when your points are updated within 3 working days after each purchase. Your points can be used immediately to redeem rewards once you have received, but they must meet the minimum number of points required and other purchasing requirements.
What rewards do I get as a member?
You will be able to redeem rewards for special deals or discounts with the points you’ve collected at the respective restaurants. For more goodies, look out for exclusive app-only deals.
How do I earn bonus rewards?
From time to time, we will release exclusive offers that you can participate to earn bonus points or rewards.
How do I redeem rewards?
To make a redemption, just show our Cashier the QR code for the reward that you would like to redeem. All rewards redeemed are final and will not be eligible for exchange of cash nor any other rewards. Please check our terms and conditions for more details.
Can I redeem more than one reward at a time?
You can only redeem one reward per transaction.
How can I check my available points and the rewards catalogue?
You can view this information within the sedapZ app.
Will my points expire after a certain time?
Yes. Your points will expire 6 months after the date you receive them. Be sure to redeem your points before they expire.
Will my rewards expire?
Yes – we offer a variety of rewards and replace them from time to time. Remember to check the rewards’ terms and conditions to make sure that your purchase meets the requirements to redeem them.
